Branch Manager
Position Overview
As a Branch Manager within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Norfolk, VA. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of branch performance, driving revenue and customer loyalty through consultative interactions and solutions that help clients achieve financial well-being
- Create a differentiated customer experience, making banking easy in an omni-channel environment
- Collaborate with a broad range of ecosystem partners
- Accountable for risk management and compliance
- Build a high-performing team through attraction, on-boarding, coaching, and development of branch team members
- Utilize a branded sales process to achieve sales targets and customer loyalty
- Grow branch revenue through acquisition and share-of-wallet growth of consumer and business households and through collaboration with ecosystem partners
- Drive business banking results primarily through business development and community involvement activities
- Coach to consultative selling to drive results and enable customer financial well-being
- Maintain foundational understanding of balance sheet and income statement
- Manage and coach to the delivery of a differentiated client experience
- Coach team to confidently engage with customers in technology-enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultation that improves client financial well-being
- Lead effective problem resolution, making banking easy for customers
- Connect all of PNC, delivering a seamless customer experience in an omni-channel environment
- Drive the employee experience by acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding, coaching, and development
- Make talent development a priority for all branch team members
- Ensure employees achieve performance and activity expectations through effective and ongoing performance management
- Model PNC values by cultivating and supporting an inclusive workplace
- Manage operational, human capital, reputational, and business risk
- Exercise leadership, authority, and sound decision making to mitigate sales practice risk
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures

Work Experience: Roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree, but do require related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 3+ years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Licenses: Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations. This position requires the ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
Pay
Base Salary: $70,125.00 – $116,875.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
Schedule
This opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 09/08/2026, although it may be longer with business discretion.
