About the role

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Production Associate to produce heat pipe assemblies for internal and external customers using semi-automated equipment. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and precision of components used in aerospace and defense applications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed work instructions and perform basic math calculations.
• Perform repetitive motion activities daily.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Clean parts using Crest Workstation.
• Work in the production area.
• Use information or access hardware subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Requirements

• U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
• No sponsorship for employment immigration (e.g., CPT, OPT, H-1B, etc.) now or in the future.
• Currently reside within 50 miles (80 kilometers) of Lancaster, PA; no relocation benefit offered.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write documents in English (e.g., safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Ability to apply common sense and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit and use hands to handle sharp-edged parts.
• Frequently required to reach, stand, lift parts, and communicate with Machining and QC departments.
