Medieval Times is looking for Cashiers/Box Office Agents who are responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service by welcoming guests to the Castle, processing ticket sales and reservations, and assisting guests with retail purchases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS And RESPONSIBILITIES Provides our guests with a high level of customer service and careWelcomes guests to the Castle and process their existing or new ticket reservationsReceives payment for new ticket salesIssues receipts, refunds, credits or change due to guests as neededMaintains awareness of all admissions prices and packages as well as all promotions and advertisementsResolves guest issues and communicates to management as neededMaintains orderly appearance of work area and keeps supplies stockedPerforms additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Excellent customer service skillsAbility to use a computer to find, add, or adjust ticket reservationsAbility to count money and make changeAbility to deal with unpleasant or discourteous guests on occasionAbility to communicate with Team Members and guestsPhysical ability to stand and/or sit for extended periodsPhysical ability to lift up to 10 lbs.Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed Education And Work Experience High School diploma or equivalent1-2 cashier, retail, or customer service experience EOE, drug-free environment.
