Box Office Agent

Job Summary

We are seeking seasonal/casual, part-time Box Office Agents in Tacoma, WA to support various events. This role requires flexibility with scheduling and is based on event requirements.

About the role

This position provides exceptional front-line customer service to ticket purchasers, conducts in-person ticket sales, works with Archtics and TM Host systems, balances and accounts for cash and credit card receipts, organizes and distributes “will-call” tickets, and fosters a positive attitude towards the company and its activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional front-line customer service to ticket purchasers
• Conduct in-person ticket sales at the Box Office using the Ticketmaster Point of Sale system
• Work with Archtics and TM Host systems on a regular basis
• Balance and account for cash and credit card receipts from sales transactions
• Organize and distribute “will-call” tickets
• Foster and maintain a positive attitude towards the company and its activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year experience in sales and/or customer service
• General office and cash experience are preferred
• Must be available for flexible working hours which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Basic foundation and understanding of event ticketing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to accommodate an extremely flexible and fluid work schedule
• Service oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Go-getter with the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
• A passion for live events – music, pop culture, arts and theatre, and family events!
