Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and engage with potential customers, including contractors, builders, and architects.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our insulation and fireproofing.
- Assess customer needs and provide customized solutions that meet their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive price quotes.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as installation and customer support, to ensure smooth project execution and customer delight.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of insulation and fireproofing is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Physical Demands
- Frequent travel required.
- Regular standing and walking at customer and construction sites.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying product samples or materials weighing up to 25–30 pounds.
- Climbing stairs or ladders.
- Working in indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather, noise, and site conditions.
- Tasks requiring sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to communicate effectively, review plans, and use computers and mobile devices.
