About the role

We are seeking a confident and energetic Studio Manager who loves people and sales with equal enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting our team and community. This role involves coaching and developing a team, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. You will oversee all studio functionality, including sales, operations, and member services, with Member Support Specialists reporting directly to you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking
  • Implement sales processes to schedule prospects into free introductory classes
  • Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
  • Manage staff schedules and studio retail inventory
  • Lead, manage, and hold Member Support Specialists accountable
  • Generate and analyze revenue reports, attendance reports, and other data using Club Ready software
  • Make high-level customer service decisions independently
  • Collect outstanding dues and enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • Ensure all administrative supplies, forms, and studio literature are stocked and visible
  • Schedule and participate in networking, community events, and studio promotions
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail sales or fitness sales experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Confidence in generating personal sales and training team members in sales
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the leadership team
  • Experience managing and driving four revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills (in person, on the telephone, and via email)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
  • Strong judgment to recognize areas of improvement and implement changes
  • Passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized with proficiency in data management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software
  • Willingness to grow and learn
