Job Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for the financial operations of tenant accounts and vendor payments, and completes general clerical duties relative to billing, accounts receivable/payable, or other business-related transactions.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of related experience
- (Knowledge of accounts payables, OPS, deposit accounting, financial reviews)
- (Proficiency using Yardi and RealPage)
Responsibilities
- Prepares reports of expenditures and invoice payments
- Balances ledgers
- Maintains records of all applicable transactions
- Maintains owner/tenant/vendor files with proper financial documentation
- Pays vendors and all invoices related to the property in a timely manner and from appropriate accounts
- Creates and provides end-of-month financial statements for property owners
- Interacts with owners, tenants, and vendors on a regular basis
- May process rent payments and three-day notices
- May serve as an assistant to the accounting, billing, or a related department
Certifications or Licenses Required
License required in specific markets, otherwise preferred
Additional Compensation
- Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
