About the role
The role involves managing financial records, processing payments, and preparing reports for a small business.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks including bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
- Process invoices and payments efficiently
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic understanding of tax laws and regulations
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Experience with online payment systems
