About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations of our US and Canadian entities. You will maintain accurate financial records, drive process improvements, and support our continued growth and scalability. This position can be based in our Chicago, Austin, or Toronto (Ontario) office, working closely with our finance team in Israel.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable: issue invoices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Track and update customer project billing status and ensure timely collections.
- Process vendor invoices and manage Accounts Payable via Dokka and Mesh.
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliation.
- Process employee expense reports via Expensify.
- Reconcile employee accounts, covering expense reimbursements and leave adjustments (parental leave, unpaid leave, etc.).
- Support full monthly end-close processes (accrued expenses, prepaid, fixed assets).
- Perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist with annual audit processes and external reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc working papers and financial analysis.
- Contribute to improving and scaling our financial processes as the company grows.
Requirements
- Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB or equivalent) – advantage.
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in a Hi-Tech or multinational company – required.
- Experience with US and/or Canadian GAAP and multi-entity bookkeeping – required.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite – advantage.
- Experience with Mesh and Expensify – advantage.
- Team player, service-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000–$90,000, plus an equity package in the form of stock-option grants.
