About the role
We are seeking a Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in healthcare billing, particularly in a long-term care setting, and supervisory experience. A bachelor's or associate's degree in business or accounting is preferred, along with knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws.
Responsibilities
- Ensure systems of internal control are in place and operating satisfactorily to safeguard facility assets.
- Maximize cash flow and meet company accounts receivable targets.
- Act as a financial liaison between corporate departments and other staff (such as accounting, reimbursement).
- Implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
- Control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
- Understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare/HMO billing requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support audit and compliance efforts.
Requirements
- 2-4 years' experience in healthcare billing, preferably in long term care environment.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience leading the Business Office with strong Medicare/HMO billing experience.
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college with a specialization in business or accounting.
- Nice to have: Public Notary certification.

Pay
Salary Range: $33.00-$35.00 per hour. Compensation for roles varies based on a variety of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
