About the role

We are seeking a Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in healthcare billing, particularly in a long-term care setting, and supervisory experience. A bachelor's or associate's degree in business or accounting is preferred, along with knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems of internal control are in place and operating satisfactorily to safeguard facility assets.
• Maximize cash flow and meet company accounts receivable targets.
• Act as a financial liaison between corporate departments and other staff (such as accounting, reimbursement).
• Implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
• Control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
• Understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/HMO billing requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to support audit and compliance efforts.

Requirements

• 2-4 years' experience in healthcare billing, preferably in long term care environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience leading the Business Office with strong Medicare/HMO billing experience.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college with a specialization in business or accounting.
• Nice to have: Public Notary certification.

Pay

Salary Range: $33.00-$35.00 per hour. Compensation for roles varies based on a variety of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
