About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure systems of internal control are in place and operating satisfactorily to safeguard facility assets.
  • Maximize cash flow and meet company accounts receivable targets.
  • Act as a financial liaison between corporate departments and other staff (accounting, reimbursement, etc.) to support effective audit and compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in healthcare billing, preferably in long term care environment.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading the Business Office with strong Medicare/HMO billing expertise.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
  • Understanding of direct spending and labor budget management.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to long-term care.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accredited college with a specialization in business or accounting.
  • Public Notary certification.

Pay

Compensation for this role varies based on a variety of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The hourly or salary range provided is a reasonable expectation for the role.
