Body Shop Estimator

About the Role

Mac Haik Toyota in League City, TX, is hiring a Body Shop Estimator to join our team. This role involves interacting with customers to evaluate vehicle collision and repair needs, offering additional services, and estimating repairs. The position requires a high level of customer interaction and coordination with service technicians and the parts department.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer and make them feel comfortable during the sales and estimate process.
• Estimate repairs by evaluating body damage, developing estimates, and preparing work orders.
• Deliver estimates, obtain work authorizations, and deliver repair orders, supplements, and warranties.
• Thoroughly document the repair process and prepare damage reports accurately.
• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and estimates to customers.
• Update customers on repairs in progress and follow up after repairs are complete to ensure satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal departments, insurance adjusters, and customers.
• Review completed vehicles to ensure quality and thoroughness.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to service operations.
• Ensure body shop employees follow safety protocols and maintain shop equipment.
• Meet customer service standards by achieving high CSI scores.
• Safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
• Complete required training through the company portal.
• Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Uphold ethical business practices and the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Perform duties safely and handle other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
• Authorization to work in the USA.

Skills / Qualities Preferred

• Experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• CDK & CCC1 knowledge a plus.
