Bistro Manager (Dimondale, MI)

About the role

The Bistro Manager collaborates with the Executive Chef to oversee the Bistro's operations, ensuring quality services and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing Bistro programs and activities.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages following EPIC standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate food-related activities with other departments.
• Develop, maintain, and implement Bistro policies and procedures.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as form completion, report preparation, and study interpretation.
• Supervise Bistro staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained
• Good leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, develop, implement, and interpret program goals and objectives
• Knowledge of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to nursing care facilities and food service establishments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Pay

• $19.00 per hour starting wage

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shift schedule - 9:00 A - 5:30 PM
• Rotates weekends and holidays with other dietary staff
