Biomedical Scientist, Knowledge Management
Job Details
ICR is hiring a talented and motivated Biomedical Scientist with a deep background in aging biology and interest and experience in managing large amounts of knowledge and synthesizing biomedical literature to produce concise, hard-hitting personalized medicine reports. Our ideal candidate will be a "health tinkerer", someone who is deeply interested in their own health and also loves to write. A deep and broad background in health research, aging biology and molecular biology is required.
Please note: this is NEITHER a Public Health position nor an Epidemiology position.
With ICR, you'll get to:
- Rapidly research available resources and synthesize important information into easy-to-read reports and assemble executive summaries on a variety of health and disease topics
- Quickly synthesize new information and update previous report
- Communicate summarized, high-level information effectively to other members of the ICR team through small-group presentations
- Manage a small team of remote researchers
Please apply if you have:
- A MS or PhD in a Biomedical Science
- At least 25 years experience in science, health research and writing
- A deep background in aging biology
- Experience in searching and analyzing traditional online resources of scientific information (e.g. PubMed, ResearchGate, etc) and non-traditional (e.g. message boards, blogs, news articles, etc)
- Hands-on experience with information products from companies like Informa, ABIS, InsightMeme, Quosa and Scopus
- Experience writing clear, concise and accurate reports and summaries of assigned literature topics in English that are easy to read and understand
- The ability to quickly assimilate and integrate data from various sources into cohesive summaries
- Experience using LLMs and AI responsibly for research and information synthesis
And you'll need:
- A can-do attitude with a friendly, easygoing personality
- Excellent English-language communications skills
- The ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation
Starting base pay range: $125,000/yr - $175,000/yr
Starting additional compensation range: $8,000/yr - $17,000/yr

Requirements
