About the Role

What if your years of advanced biology training could directly shape how AI reasons through genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics — for researchers and scientists around the world?

We're looking for Biology experts with Masters or PhD-level credentials to help build and refine cutting-edge AI models. You'll apply your deep scientific knowledge to craft, solve, and evaluate complex biology problems — ensuring AI systems think with the rigor and depth that real science demands.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
  • Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design complex, meaningful problem statements
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning
  • Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in one or more of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
  • Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or analytical tasks
  • Exceptional written communication skills with sharp attention to scientific detail
  • Fully fluent in English — naturally precise, thorough, and methodical in your thinking

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Background in research publication, peer review, or academic instruction
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines or computational biology tools
  • Experience designing or evaluating complex problem sets in an academic or professional context

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, intellectually stimulating work
  • Put your advanced degree to work in a high-impact, forward-looking field
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
