About the Role

What if your years of advanced biology training could directly shape how AI reasons about genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology — for millions of people around the world?

We're looking for Biology experts with graduate-level credentials to help build and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. You'll bring your deep scientific knowledge to bear on complex, real-world problems — ensuring AI systems think rigorously, reason accurately, and communicate biology the way a true expert would.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
  • Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design and evaluate complex problem statements
  • Assess AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, rigor, depth, and clarity
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model reasoning
  • Ensure every deliverable meets high standards of scientific integrity and communicative precision

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or similar
  • Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
  • Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data-related tasks
  • Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with computational biology or bioinformatics pipelines
  • Background in academic research, peer review, or scientific publishing
  • Experience designing or grading advanced coursework or examinations

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, intellectually stimulating work
  • Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and communicates science
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
