BIM/VDC Coordinator - Dallas, TX
Position Summary
The BIM/VDC Coordinator will support Project Leadership by coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts throughout the project lifecycle. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to support model coordination, clash detection, construction planning, and project documentation to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support BIM and VDC coordination efforts throughout all phases of construction.
- Aid with model management, coordination meetings, and project documentation.
- Review construction models and drawings for completeness and constructability.
- Collaborate with Project Leadership and subcontractors to identify and resolve model conflicts.
- Sustain accurate BIM/VDC files and project records.
- Assist with construction planning, logistics, and visualization efforts as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate effectively with Operations and Project Leadership teams.
- Aid with project mobilization and closeout activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of BIM, VDC, or construction coordination experience preferred.
- Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects is preferred.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM/VDC software is preferred.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and models.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects is preferred.
- Data center or mission-critical construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience facilitating BIM coordination meetings and model reviews is preferred.
- Understanding of construction sequencing and project coordination principles is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This position is expected to maintain a full-time presence on the active construction jobsite and regularly requires walking uneven terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and complying with all project-specific safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). The role may require standing and walking for extended periods, navigating multiple levels of construction activities, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds while supporting project coordination efforts.
