BIM Modeler III

About the Role

As a BIM Modeler III at Rosendin, you will lead modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This role serves as the Model Manager, overseeing all functions of a BIM project, including drawings, model quality, and coordination files. You will supervise modeling and documentation while providing task-based training and support to other staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks of a BIM Modeler II
• Collaborate with the Family Development Team for revised standards or project-specific needs
• Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects
• Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including advising on resource needs, progress, and potential impacts on scope, schedule, and budget
• Create and maintain Electrical Revit models using backgrounds from other trades, following all REI standards
• Work with a diverse team across multiple departments and disciplines
• Supervise the layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit in accordance with REI Standards
• Acknowledge REI confidentiality and non-Disclosure requirements
• Protect proprietary or company intellectual property

Requirements

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design, or a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year in Revit
• Minimum 5 years’ total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols, drafting conventions, and standards (can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience)

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Revit, including creating and manipulating families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters
• Effective performance management
• Fluency in reading 2D plans (electronically or hard copy), including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules
• Complete understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards, including workflow processes
• Proficiency in Revit work sharing and setting up Revit models
• Ability to lead model teams in modeling, annotating, project scheduling, assigning workload, and meeting deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
• Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, management, vendors, clients, and others

Working Conditions

• General work environment: sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending
• Primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions (e.g., fluorescent lighting, air conditioning)
• Noise levels typically low to medium; can be loud on job sites
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs

Pay

$38.60–$51.00 hourly, based on location, experience, skills, and education.
