Billing & Payroll Clerk

Pay: $21.00-$23.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Location: Lodi, CA

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support billing, customer service, driver payroll, and administrative functions in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Responsibilities

• Process freight paperwork and generate accurate invoices.
• Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Balance driver settlement sheets for payroll processing.
• Maintain billing records and filing systems.
• Prepare and distribute invoices, tickets, and freight bills.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.
• Aid with month-end and payroll deadlines.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One to three years of billing experience, preferably in a transportation or freight industry setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and billing software.
• A strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements

• Saturday shifts are required several times per month to support payroll and month-end billing deadlines.
