About the role
Bilingual Unaccompanied Children (UC) Case Managers provide support to unaccompanied children in their care. This includes ensuring their safety, providing emotional support, and helping them navigate the legal and administrative processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document the needs of unaccompanied children
- Provide emotional support and counseling services
- Coordinate with social service agencies and law enforcement
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations
- Advocate for the rights of unaccompanied children
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of immigration laws and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- License to practice social work or psychology (if applicable)
- Previous experience in child welfare or legal settings
Skills
