Bilingual (Spanish/English) Junior HR Recruiter

Position Summary

El Milagro is seeking a motivated and dependable HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts across the organization. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin or grow a career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The HR Recruiter will assist with sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates while learning best practices in recruitment and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid hiring managers and the HR team with recruitment needs and job postings
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and local recruiting efforts
• Review applications and conduct initial phone or in-person screenings
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant tracking systems
• Provide candidates with information regarding open positions, company culture, and hiring steps
• Auxiliary with recruitment-related projects, including internship and early-career hiring initiatives
• Keep recruitment software, job postings, and hiring documentation organized and up to date
• Confer with management to define position requirements and assist with drafting job descriptions
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies
• Support additional HR-related duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or in progress)
• 0-2 years + of experience in recruiting, HR, or customer-facing roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with ADP, Workforce Now, Hireology, or similar ATS systems
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, food production, distribution, or similar industries is a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, marketing, psychology, or a related field preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
