Our client is seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing plant and/or distribution center environment of 150+ employees. This individual will serve as a key partner to employees and leadership, helping drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR program implementation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), experience supporting an hourly workforce, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic operational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
  • Partner with plant or distribution leadership to address employee relations issues and resolve workplace concerns.
  • Administer and support HR programs including performance management, employee engagement, recognition programs, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and documentation.
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate training programs and development initiatives for employees and supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support decision-making.
  • Participate in workforce planning and staffing strategies to meet operational needs.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on safety, teamwork, and employee development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing plant and/or distribution center environment.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and employment law.
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
