Join the Burlington Stores, Inc. team as a Human Resources Coordinator and provide comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team. This role requires strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, payroll support, and Federal and State law compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports, and transactional requests from HR, the business, and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems.
- Prepare new hire orientation material, maintain data entry for new hires, conduct new hire orientation, and manage onboarding.
- Manage, track, and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire documentation, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and terminations.
- Support the Distribution Centers with planning, communicating, and tracking company-wide initiatives, events, and objectives, as well as daily associate inquiries.
- Advise and assist managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and the Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries.
- Coordinate FMLA, LOA, and Workers Comp claims, and submit paperwork to corporate/vendor.
- Support additional HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background and understanding of basic Human Resources principles.
- Ability to be cross-trained and serve as a backup resource to other coordinators in the department.
- Proactive work ethic; ability to work autonomously as well as with a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Human Resources experience in a Distribution Center environment preferred.
- Bilingual strongly preferred.

Pay
Hourly rate: $15.60 - $22.00 (min-mid range). Individual pay decisions will be based on qualifications, education, job-related skills, relevant experience, and geographic location.
Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
