About the role
Krause Landscape Contractors is looking for a people-first Bilingual HR Coordinator to join our team in Amarillo, TX! The Bilingual HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing HR coverage and other administrative duties, as assigned, to support the Human Resources Department. This role serves as a first point of contact for walk-in candidates and associates, and provides day-to-day HR, payroll, and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Orientation: Greet and assist walk-in candidates, serving as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for the HR office; conduct onboarding and orientation for walk-in candidates and new hires, including new hire paperwork, verifying employment eligibility (Form I-9), and reviewing company policies and benefits; ensure onboarding documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed
- Day-to-Day HR Duties: Serve as a point of contact for associates' general HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate information; assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims, and related documentation; maintain and organize employee files and HR records in compliance with confidentiality standards; assist with other HR responsibilities as directed by the Human Resources Manager and Regional Human Resources Team
- Weekly Payroll: Collect, review, and enter weekly timesheet and payroll data accurately and on schedule; verify hours worked, PTO, and other payroll-related data for accuracy prior to processing; coordinate with the payroll department/provider to research and resolve discrepancies; maintain payroll records in compliance with company policy and applicable wage and hour regulations
- Administrative Assistant Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence; answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR team member; order and maintain office and HR supplies as needed; assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in HR (minimum 1 year) or administrative roles is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Comfortable greeting and assisting walk-in visitors and candidates in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate, speak, and write in both English and Spanish
Pay
$24.00 - $26.00/hr
