Essential Responsibilities:HR Operations & Onboarding Manage and lead Spanish and English New Hire Orientation while ensuring orientation materials are up to date and current.Work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure a seamless transition of new team members into the onboarding process and coordinate onboarding activities through the first 90 days.Communicate with new hires regarding orientation details, required paperwork, and travel arrangements as needed.Coordinate orientation/new hire setup logistics with hiring managers, training, safety, and IT.Prepare and process pre-employment and Day 1 paperwork and ensure required documents are provided.Complete I-9 and E-Verify for all team members and maintain accurate records, support periodic I-9 audits, and track employment authorization and re-verification dates, including work authorization renewals.Maintain HRIS records and orientation documentation, including UKG photos and documents uploaded through Document Manager.Maintain assigned HR systems and records, including UKG, Samba Safety, TalentQuest, Udext, and other systems as assigned.Translate HR, corporate, and committee communications and documents as needed.Assist with Open Enrollment communications and partner with HR and Payroll to educate team members on benefits and assist with enrollment.Responsible for monthly benefits enrollment and education for team members.Support leave of absence and qualifying life events, for Spanish speaking team members.Support benefits projects and employee communications in both English and Spanish.Support the preparation of HR-related training activities, including printing materials, coordinating calendars, ordering lunches, and setting up conference rooms.Intern & Seasonal ProgramsCoordinate the day-to-day administration of Haselden’s internship and high school seasonal laborer programs.Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Safety, Payroll, and to coordinate onboarding, orientation, placements, schedules, communications, and required documentation.Maintain program calendars, participant tracking, manager communications, surveys, and check-ins throughout the program.Coordinate program activities and learning opportunities as needed.Support end-of-program feedback and provide program information to HR and Talent Acquisition.Craft Engagement & SupportAct as a liaison for all our hourly craft team members when it comes to benefits, technology, and Haselden related questions (UKG, Haselden Benefits, 401k, Bonus, etc.)Attend and actively support Foreman meetings throughout the year.Work closely with our Self Perform/Senior Superintendents when it comes to craft events and team member related questions.Responsible for visiting job sites frequently to build relationships with our craft workforce.Support craft team member recognition programs.Gather feedback from craft team members to understand engagement needs and help shape initiativesAssist with translation during meetings or sensitive HR conversations involving craft team membersAttend all CEO craft related events.Support the translation of field operations documents as needed (career ladders, processes and procedures)Office Support Serve as backup coverage for the front desk.Recruiting Support Coordinate phone, video, and in-person interviews as needed.Coordinate candidate travel arrangements, including hotels, rental cars, and flights when required.Support communication and outreach to Spanish-speaking candidates.Assist with initial craft candidate screening in partnership with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.Support offer-to-onboarding handoff to ensure new hires transition smoothly from Recruiting into HR onboarding (Included above)Assist with career fairs and recruiting events, including gathering materials, coordinating logistics, and preparing information for attendees. Qualifications for this role: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.2-4 years of HR experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.Experience with onboarding, benefits, and working within an HRIS system is preferred.Servant leader with strong communication skills.Experience in a fast-paced environment.Must be bilingual in Spanish and able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a focus on quality and accuracy.Ability to appropriately handle confidential employee and HR information.Comfortable working with both office and field team members.Ability to travel to job sites as needed.Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to work in a professional office environment, including extended periods of computer work.Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Ability to regularly visit active construction jobsites, navigate typical jobsite conditions, and wear required personal protective equipment.Ability to travel locally to jobsites, meetings, and recruiting activities as needed.Occasional early morning, evening, or after-hours work may be required to support business needs.Salary: The salary range for this position is $62,000 - $75,000. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or location where job is performed.
