Bilingual Customer Service Representative

About the Role

TEKsystems is partnering with a leading payments and technology organization to hire Bilingual Customer Service Representatives fluent in both Spanish and English. This fully remote opportunity supports customers with utility and gas bill payment services. Ideal candidates enjoy helping people, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer service calls regarding utility and gas bill payments
• Assist customers with questions about their accounts and billing statements
• Process customer payments securely over the phone
• Support customers who have missed payments and need assistance restoring utility services
• Direct callers to the appropriate department when issues fall outside the scope of support
• Provide professional, empathetic, and efficient customer service in both English and Spanish
• Accurately document customer interactions and payment information

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• At least 1 year of call center customer service experience OR minimum 2 years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience if no call center experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls
• Ability to navigate computer systems while speaking with customers
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous bilingual call center experience
• Experience handling billing, payment processing, or utility-related customer inquiries

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $19.23/hr.

This is a fully remote, Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
