Purpose
The Arizona Humane Society seeks a bilingual Client Service Representative to join its non-profit veterinary clinic at the Sunnyslope Campus. The position involves working 4 ten-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
- Greet all customers with a friendly smile and maintain first and last impressions in the lobby.
- Manage high-volume calls and appointment scheduling.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
- Create service estimates and confirm next day's appointments.
- Maintain online pharmacy order requests.
- Discharge hospitalized patients and provide necessary post-operative or post-hospitalization instructions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year experience in customer service or receptionist position.
- Experience in the veterinary field is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Above average clerical skills, including legible handwriting, spelling, and grammar.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs as necessary.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Good hearing and vision, as well as the ability to talk loudly.
Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Responsible for front office first impressions and building relationships with clients.
- Answers high-volume medical and scheduling calls in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintains accurate scheduling based on veterinarian schedules and available resources.
- Responds and appropriately handles emergency situations in a calm, professional and effective manner.
- Ensures confirmation of next day's appointments.
- Maintains online pharmacy order requests in a timely manner.
- Properly discharges hospitalized patients when assistants or technicians cannot perform discharges.
- Provides client with necessary post-operative or post-hospitalization instructions (both oral and written) and provides the client with all necessary medications.
