Benefits Support Specialist
About the Role
This fully remote position supports core people programs, HR operations, and employee lifecycle activities. The Benefits Support Specialist provides hands-on support for recognition and rewards initiatives, process improvement efforts, and cross-functional projects that enhance the effectiveness of People Operations. This role involves managing employee inquiries submitted through the ticketing system, triaging, responding to, and resolving a wide range of benefits-related questions, including health and wellness plans, retirement programs, leave policies, and other offerings.
You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance, which may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of recognition programs, including badges, milestone celebrations, and international reward fulfillment.
- Lead and support programs such as the Quarterly Values Awards and employee anniversary recognition.
- Maintain program budgets and provide reports to partners such as Finance and international stakeholders.
- Respond to employee benefit-related inquiries submitted through the ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in partnership with the Benefits team.
- Partner with vendors supporting recognition, benefits, and employee experience programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR initiatives and system/process enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and employee experience through process changes.
- Support larger People Operations projects and internal communications as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources; direct exposure to employee benefits administration preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., using formulas, filters, data review).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, Oracle, etc.) and service ticketing platforms.
- Experience with program or project management.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type, including using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $55,500 - $79,300/yr. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance, in addition to a full range of benefits.
