Essential Functions
- Administer U.S. benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, flexible spending and voluntary plans
- Process and validate benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Perform regular data audits and reconciliations between HRIS, payroll, and benefit vendor systems
- Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrections proactively
- Manage Qualifying Life Event (QLE) requests, including documentation review, eligibility determination, and system updates
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
- Track and report on benefits-related expenses as needed
- Serve as the primary contact for US HR and US employees’ benefit inquiries
- Afford assistance with ensuring compliance with applicable US laws and regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field
- One or more years of experience in Benefits Administration
- Experience with data auditing, reporting, and reconciliation
- Understanding of U.S. benefits programs and applicable regulations (e.g., ACA basics, COBRA fundamentals)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
