About the Role
Our client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to provide immediate support to the HR team during a transition. This role combines benefits administration, leave management, and compensation support, with a strong focus on projects and process improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-state environment and has hands-on experience with ADP and employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, HRA, COBRA, and ACA.
- Manage benefit enrollments, life event changes, and employee benefit inquiries.
- Support disability, FMLA, leave administration, and unemployment claims.
- Utilize ADP HRIS to process benefits and maintain employee records.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices using advanced Excel.
- Conduct new hire benefits onboarding and employee education.
- Assist with annual open enrollment.
- Support compensation initiatives, including salary benchmarking, job descriptions, salary structures, and reporting.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data and prepare reports for leadership.
- Assist the HR Director with special projects and additional HR initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience focused on benefits and compensation.
- Strong background in Benefits Administration, Leave Management, and HR compliance.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
- Hands-on experience with ADP HRIS.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience with compensation analysis or salary benchmarking preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient, customer-service mindset.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
