WHAT You'll DO
- Administer and maintain employee benefit programs for assigned employee populations, including multi-state groups.
- Partner with benefit vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver a full suite of retirement plan services to include retirement conversion, comprehensive annual reviews, employee benefits compliance for health benefits, leave, and retirement programs particularly 401(k).
- Coordinate employee enrollment meetings and develop engaging benefits communications and educational materials.
- Maintain accurate benefits records, reconcile employee deductions and vendor invoices, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or support benefits-related projects, system implementations, and process improvements, including HRIS initiatives.
- Monitor and interpret applicable federal and state regulations, including ACA and retirement plan requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance and recommending program enhancements as needed.
- Cook compliance activities and filings, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and submission.
- Participate in strategic benefits planning and contribute to the design and enhancement of benefit offerings that support our mission and employees.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
WHAT You’ll NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of progressive benefits administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with HRIS platforms; Workday experience is preferred.
- Experience with supporting retirement plan administration.
- Proven project leadership skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Strong knowledge of benefits laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- A customer-focused mindset with a track record of providing outstanding employee support.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- PHR and/or CEBS certification is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work additional hours when business needs require.

Pay
Compensation Range: $63,200-94,800 Competitive nonprofit compensation, based on experience, plus a generous benefits package. Compensation ranges for each position are based on local market rates and will be determined by geography, role, and experience.
