About the role

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering various employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer health, dental, vision, retirement, and other employee benefit plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits, including answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure seamless administration of benefits.
  • Stay updated on changes in benefit laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to benefit programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a benefits administration role.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
