The Opportunity

The Benefits Technology Specialist supports and exceeds client expectations with HUB's benefits technology solutions. They configure and maintain the Benefits Administration system, manage system changes, and train clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains HUB's Benefits Administration system based on client requirements.
• Tests system functionality and implements changes according to project plans.
• Updates systems as requirements change, including benefit classes, rates, permissions, and site text.
• Builds and maintains EDI files to meet business objectives.
• Trains clients and internal teams on system use and provides demonstrations.
• Presents HUB's Benefits Administration system to clients and prospects.
• Maintains client relationships and advises on new products and services.
• Resolves client issues by researching and responding to inquiries.
• Stays informed about industry changes and recommends appropriate actions.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Life & Health license preferred.
• Knowledge of employee benefits products and services, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills, and Project Management software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
