The Opportunity
The Benefits Technology Specialist supports and exceeds client expectations with HUB's benefits technology solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Configures and maintains HUB's Benefits Administration system based on client requirements.
- Tests system functionality to ensure accuracy and implements services according to project plans.
- Updates systems as requirements change and builds EDI files as needed.
- Trains clients and internal teams on system use and provides demonstrations.
- Presents the system to clients and prospects, and advises on new product offerings.
- Maintains client relationships, verifies technical information, and resolves issues.
- Stays informed on industry changes and makes recommendations to clients.
- Documents conversations and updates systems and agency management software.
Qualifications
- High School/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Life & Health license preferred.
- Knowledge of employee benefits products and services, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills, and Project Management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Primarily stationary position for the majority of the workday.
- Frequent communication with colleagues and clients.
- Occasional movement to access file cabinets and office machinery.
