Benefit Administration Analyst
About the role
Entry-level role in the Benefit Administration team. Responsible for providing administration and analytical support to senior team members. Gain understanding of the design, operations, and regulations governing defined benefit plans.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage pension requests, including first calculation/paperwork for active plans, data inquiries, and updates.
- Reconcile participant data changes and year-end reporting.
- Work directly with clients and respond to participant questions.
- Analyze calculation breakpoints, including identification and testing.
- Create or run participant data reports.
- Analyze and manipulate data files.
- Review and approve payments to participants.
- Meet the company’s CRM case efficiency and accuracy metrics.
- Participate in an out-of-scope project, including Plan Termination, TV Buyout, and new client implementation.
- Conduct work with a high level of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pension plans.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and understand large data sets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and systematic thinking skills, including ability to break down calculations specific to client plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Pay
Annual salary range is $45,000 - $50,000, plus potential compensation incentives.
