About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Benefit Analyst to join our Employee Benefits team on a hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for providing assistance and support to Clients, Producers, and Client Relationship Managers on new and renewal accounts in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing process: request census from client, prepare RFPs, confirm with producer requested commission level.
- Manage quotes, carrier proposals, and applications until all materials for client and agency commissions are received.
- Prepare marketing and renewal worksheets.
- Prepare broker of record letters for new business.
- Confirm request to carriers on final plan/rates/commissions, requesting confirmed enrollment materials and submission of completed carrier forms.
- Prepare termination letters to carriers upon Producer approval.
- Process enrollments, if applicable, with respective carriers.
- Review contracts, policies, booklets, and bills for accuracy.
- In conjunction with Compliance Officer, prepare Wrap documents/SPD manuals where appropriate.
- Maintain group-specific hard copy and electronic files in chronological sequence for renewals, new business, and recap of meeting notes.
- Update Outlook and the agency management system with any changes in contact information.
- Contribute to enhancement of client services/sales, be well-informed, and maintain familiarity with industry trends.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in employee benefits.
- Life/Health license required and commitment to attend product workshops and related seminars.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal, communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience. Required Education: High school or equivalent.

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $72,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
