About the role

This position is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Perform general metal fabrication techniques such as washing, grinding, sanding, drilling, and deburring to specification
• Use all tools involved in metal fabrication processes
• Maintain proper ergonomics to prevent injury
• Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Measure components using tape measure and/or micrometers and calipers
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances
• Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operations
• Record accurate job labor using electronic tracking
• Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work area
• Follow established safety procedures and use required PPE
• Achieve Crane/Hoist training (internal certification)
• Perform all other jobs as assigned

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of various metal types and the appropriate abrasives used to achieve required finishes
