About the role

• Accurately transport guests’ luggage to assigned rooms following registration.
• Pick up guests’ luggage upon departure and transfer to transportation or storage.
• Provide fast, flawless guest service by sharing information about Hotel/Casino amenities, special events, and travel directions.
• Assist guests with room changes and maintain room key security.
• Promote outstanding guest relations with a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Must complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification.
• Must be able to push/pull a bell cart weighing approximately 50 lbs.
• Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; frequent use of hands; ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.

Pay

Starting salary: $9.00 – $13.50 per hour. Initial placement within the range is based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
