Call Center Representative - Part Time

Part time, rotating shift: 6am–2:30pm every other weekend plus either 10:30am–7pm or 3pm–7pm during the week.

About the role

Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Patient Services Coordinator, you will facilitate patients’ food requests using the computer system and process paperwork for the area per established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remain professional and follow through with patient, nurse, RD, or Coordinator for all phone calls as needed.
• Review patient listing; check special services, diet orders, LDAs, and preferences; make adjustments to patients’ files as needed.
• Generate meal tallies and maintenance reports as required.
• Process Epic printouts; follow through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies, and diet changes; make appropriate adjustments to patients’ files.
• Enter tube-feeding orders from Epic into Hospitality Suite accurately; send correct products with labels attached appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Word-processing skills.
• Sedentary work involving repetitive motion of hands, fingers, and wrists.

Pay

Pay range: $17.25 – $25.90 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base-salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location.
