Call Center Representative - Part Time

About the Role

Part-time position with a rotating shift: 6am-2:30pm every other weekend and 10:30am-7pm or 3pm-7pm during the week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patients’ food requests using the computer system under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Patient Services Coordinator.
• Process paperwork for the area per established procedures.
• Remain professional and follow through with patient, nurse, RD, or Coordinator for all phone calls as needed.
• Review patient listings, check special services, diet orders, LDAs, and preferences; make adjustments to patients’ files as needed.
• Generate meal tallies and maintenance reports as required.
• Process Epic printouts; follow through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies, and diet changes, making appropriate adjustments to patients’ files.
• Enter tube feeding orders from Epic into Hospitality Suite accurately and send correct products with labels attached appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Word processing skills.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Sedentary work.
• Repetitive motion of hands, fingers, and wrist.

Pay

Pay range: $17.25 - $25.90 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
