About the role
This position serves as a Behavior Management Coordinator at Aspire of WNY, overseeing the development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will work closely with clinical staff to monitor medication usage, track progress through data and measurement systems, and provide in-service training to agency personnel.Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and train behavior plans for individuals requiring behavioral supports.
- Maintain communication with community providers to ensure accurate monitoring of medications.
- Establish and manage data and measurement systems for reporting progress.
- Conduct in-service training sessions for agency staff on behavioral and psychological strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, or
- Associate’s degree with at least three (3) years of direct care experience, or
- High school diploma with at least five (5) years of direct care experience, including experience implementing Behavior Support Plans.
