Behavioral Health Therapist II - Outpatient

About the role

BayCare Health Systems is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the team at Behavioral Health Outpatient in Brooksville, FL. This is a full-time, exempt position with a varied Monday–Friday schedule between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. No weekend work or on-call duty is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing solution focused behavioral health treatment through the use of individual, group and family counseling
• Providing clinical impression and assessment
• Performing crisis support and services as needed
• Functioning as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as applicable
• Overseeing clinical staff as assigned
• Traveling to various sites, as specific program requires
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Related Field
• 2 years of experience in Counseling, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Children's Services or Psychology
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Driver's License - program specific
• One of the following licenses: LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health) or LCSW (Social Work)

This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
