Behavioral Health Therapist II - Outpatient

About the role

The Behavioral Health Therapist II-Outpatient at BayCare Life Management in Tampa, FL is responsible for providing solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling. They also provide clinical impressions and assessments, crisis support and services as needed, and function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts when applicable. Services are provided for children aged 5 and above. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling.
• Provide clinical impressions and assessments.
• Perform crisis support and services as needed.
• Function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide services for children aged 5 and above.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) - Required
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Related Field
• 2 years of experience in counseling, mental health, substance abuse, children's services, or psychology

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
