Behavioral Health Therapist II - Outpatient

About the role

The Behavioral Health Therapist II-Outpatient is responsible for providing solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling. They provide clinical impressions and assessments, crisis support and services as needed, and function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts when applicable. They also oversee clinical staff as assigned and travel to various sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling.
• Provide clinical impressions and assessments.
• Perform crisis support and services as needed.
• Function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts when applicable.
• Oversee clinical staff as assigned.
• Travel to various sites as specific program requirements dictate.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in counseling, mental health, substance abuse, children's services, or psychology.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license as per program-specific requirements.

Schedule

Full-time, Exempt: Yes
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, hours vary.
One night per week until 7:00 PM
Weekend Work: None
