Behavioral Health Therapist II - Outpatient
About the role
The Behavioral Health Therapist II is responsible for providing solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling. They also provide clinical impressions and assessments, crisis support and services as needed, and function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as applicable. Additionally, they oversee clinical staff as assigned and travel to various sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide solution-focused behavioral health treatment through individual, group, and family counseling.
- Provide clinical impressions and assessments.
- Perform crisis support and services as needed.
- Function as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as applicable.
- Oversee clinical staff as assigned.
- Travel to various sites as specific program requirements dictate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Qualifications
- Master's in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Health Education, Human Services, Nursing, or related field.
- Two years of mental health, child counseling, substance abuse, or psychology experience.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Schedule
Full-time, exempt. Shift Hours: Facility Open M-F, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM – 40 hours a week. Weekend Work: None. On Call: No.
