Behavioral Health Therapist II - Outpatient

About the role

BayCare Health Systems is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the team at Winter Haven Center for Behavioral Health in Winter Haven, Florida. This is a full-time, exempt position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend work or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing solution focused behavioral health treatment through the use of individual, group and family counseling
• Providing clinical impression and assessment
• Performing crisis support and services as needed
• Functioning as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as applicable
• Overseeing clinical staff as assigned
• Traveling to various sites, as specific program requires
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Related Field
• 2 years of experience in Counseling, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Children's Services or Psychology
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Driver's License - program specific
• One of the following licenses: LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health) or LCSW (Social Work)
• This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)
