About the role
Channel ABA is seeking passionate, growth-oriented Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) who want to make a meaningful impact while building a long-term career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, clinic, and community settings
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition using trauma-informed, assent-based care
- Collect accurate data and complete clinical documentation (e.g., session notes, progress updates)
- Collaborate with BCBA and the clinical team to ensure high-quality care
- Build professional, supportive relationships with families
- Participate in supervision, IBHS-required meetings, and ongoing training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of 40-hour RBT Training through an approved course sequence
- BHT qualifications in accordance with Pennsylvania IBHS regulations
- Ability to work with children with autism or behavioral health needs
- Reliable transportation
- RBT Certification (preferred)
- Experience in ABA or working with children (preferred)
- Enrollment in or plans to pursue ABA coursework (for internship track) (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
