Behavioral Health Technician (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Aid in the intake process for new clients.
• Communicate with staff verbally and through detailed written logs.
• Listen to clients regarding all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
• Cookordination of activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
• Attend shift changeovers, team meetings, and company meetings.
• Ensure client schedules are followed daily.
• Assist with client interventions as necessary.
• Follow objectives outlined in treatment plans.
• Monitor medication distribution.
• Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.
• Conduct searches of clients upon their return to the facility.
• Monitor treatment for hygiene and medical needs.
• Distribute client snacks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

$15/hr before shift differentials.

Schedule

Shift options include 3:00pm - 11:00pm, usually including 1 weekend day per week.
