Behavioral Health Technician (Full Time)
About the role
The Langhorne residential program at Pyramid Healthcare provides gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adult men and women in Bucks County and surrounding areas. The program also teaches women how to safely cope with physical, psychological, and emotional trauma without the use of substances, empowering them to overcome feelings of victimization and move toward a life of wellness and personal growth. Men in the treatment program live on-site in a structured setting where they receive education, therapy, and medical care to assist them in working through personal issues and ultimately overcoming their addiction.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the intake process for new clients, communicating with staff both verbally and in written logs.
- Listen to clients regarding all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
- Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
- Mandatorily conduct bed checks as required by the department, completing a bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
- Ensure that the client schedule is followed daily.
- Follow the objectives of treatment plans.
- Monitor medication lines.
- Transport clients to meetings and recreation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience.
Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions.
Qualifications

$15/hr before shift differentials.
- 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00
- 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
- 3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.50 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
Schedule
Shift 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm - Sunday - Thursday - Days Off: Friday and Saturday
Shift 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Tuesday - Saturday - Days Off: Sunday and Monday
