About the role

The Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health services to patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Valid state license as a Mental Health Professional or equivalent certification
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of behavioral health principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
