About the role
The Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health services to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support services
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Valid state license as a Mental Health Professional or equivalent certification
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
